NIMA JAVAN

I was self-educated until age 24, when I went to art college and graduated with a bachelor of illustration.
I studied masters of painting. My thesis was on "The Influence of German Expressionist Painters on Iranian Painters."
I was a painting teacher in Iran and Greece, and I worked with Tate Liverpool as an assistant artist in the workshops.
When I moved to the UK in 2019, I started to create new characters according to my studies that I had in Persian paintings (miniature and carpet). I combined them with my own characters.and i focus on challenges between humans and animals in some of the new subjects. In another way, it's the continuation of traditional paintings in contemporary art.
I use acrylic pouring paint in the first layer, and after that, I try to find some figures to make some creative creatures and present them in a Persian miniature world.
